Images in bulk, with an editorial session.
Several candidates, critique rounds, one winner — for many drafts in a single run, in your own visual style.
What you can do with it
- Create and reuse visual style profiles and visual directions.
- Pick a provider and model and set the aspect ratio.
- Filter drafts by recency and topic and illustrate them in bulk.
- Run an editorial session: several candidates, critique rounds, one winner.
- Stop a running image job.
The thinking behind it
A bulk run across many drafts is a different job from “an image for this one article”. The latter belongs with the draft and has lived in the workbench since the rebuild; the image desk stays the tool for the batch.
The image prompt does not come from a separate field but from the text itself — from the image brief that is written alongside it. That way the image matches the article, not the keyword.
Improvements
Single images move to the workbench
The image for one open draft is now started where you read it. The image desk keeps the bulk run with topic and age filters — a standalone use case, not a duplicate.
Time limit matched to the critique rounds
A run with several candidates and critique rounds takes far longer than an ordinary call. The limit was set too tight and aborted runs that were still going.
