Quarterly figures you can actually compare.
Revenue, earnings, margin and EPS from the filings as reported — alongside a second set restated to today's share base, so a split does not tear the series apart.
What you can do with it
- Review periods per name with revenue, earnings, margin and EPS.
- Read reported and comparable figures side by side — restated values are starred, and the tooltip shows what was reported.
- Run the earnings sync as a stage, with scope and progress — and let it run daily on its own.
- Review automatically generated earnings articles, filtered by created or failed.
- Clear out dead entries: periods with no earnings figure at all and non-report filing types can be removed.
The thinking behind it
Without split normalisation the list compares pre-split with post-split values. In one real case an EPS of 5.87 sat next to 0.80 — after a ten-for-one share split. Growth looked like collapse.
The reported figures stay untouched: they are the trail back to the filing. Beside them sits the restated set, and the change rates in the text compute from that. “−89 %” becomes “+11 %”.
And the sync hung off a button in the interface. It therefore sat idle for 23 days while news and drafts kept running hourly. Now it runs daily by itself.
−89 % becomes +11 % — the same figures, correctly compared.
Improvements
Split-adjusted figures
Beside the reported values sits a set restated to today's share base. It is marked in the table, and the change rates in generated texts compute from it — absolute figures in the text stay as filed, with the split given as context.
The right reporting period
A quarter and a cumulative year-to-date share the same period end. Before, the order of the response decided whether a quarterly report was stored with quarterly or nine-month figures. Now the period type decides.
Older filings arrive
The fetch counted periods, not filings, and so reached back only about 30 documents. Older ones were never overwritten. The limit has been raised.
Daily sync
The reconciliation only ran on a button press and therefore stood still for weeks. It now runs daily at 07:10 UTC.
